We are massive Pilates fans at FITtopia, so when we had the chance to film and interview the Peaches Pilates team, it was an opportunity that we were not going to miss! Make sure you check out our instagram to see the video.
We spent 5 minutes with Bec Chidiac, the owner of Peaches Pilates in Maroubra and here is some insight on what to expect.
Why did you decide to start teaching Pilates?
Because Tori (the founder of Peaches Pilates) told me to – no really, she planted the seed that I should get my certificate as she was running a one-man show. Fast forward 2 years and we are business partners.

How long have you been operating and what do you love about your business?
Peaches has been operating out of their studios for 3 years – but Tori the founder actually started teaching from her loungeroom floor which is where I had my very first Peaches experience.
What are the options for clients who want to train with you?
You can Get Peachy with us in our studios (Bondi and Maroubra) or at home with our Peaches Total Body Toning Online Program
One is one thing that you guys are known for?
That peachy Booty Burn and our Community vibes!
Your favourite exercise and why?
Horse kicks – because a juicy peach can't exist without it.
Who would benefit from a class like yours and how often should they be training?
EVERYONE can benefit from a Pilates class – we have elite athletes train with us who consider themselves strong UNTIL they get on the mat and are introduced to that pilates burn. “Two sessions you’ll feel a difference, three you will see a difference”
Now lets talk about your day
Wake up time: 5:00AM MON-FRI
The morning and nighttime routines that you swear by: Morning – Lemon and water to start, coffee machine on whilst I apply my vida glow skin care listening to music. Night – Same skincare routine, tea and voice memoing Tori about my day as she is travelling
What is your day on a plate for a normal day? My days aren’t exactly normal as I am running back and forth between classes. The other day I had peanut butter on crackers for breakfast, popcorn for lunch and an omelette for dinner because I hadn’t done the shopping.
Do you have any health philosophies that you live by? I try to live by the 80/20 rule. Life is too short not to indulge every now and then!

Do you have a hack to help you when you are busy? To avoid missing exercise, our Peaches online training program has been a life saver – as I teach everyday its hard for me to get to pilates classes so I do them at home. Also SMOOTHIES
What's one thing people probably don't know about you? I like mangos when they are green on the outside – as in I don’t like my mangos ripe!
